 Registration charges are reduced for
3-day workshop on

Small Satellite Design and Development
January 3rd - 5th, 2015

There were a number of requests to reduce the registration charges to make it affordable to most of the students and public. In this regard, our team has taken the decision to reduce the registration charges without diluting the quality of the proposed training program.

New registration charges:
Students: Rs.5000
Non-students: Rs.7000

Antariksha Labs Pvt Ltd in collaboration with PES University, Bangalore is happy to announce about the upcoming 3-day workshop on “Small Satellite Design and Development”.

The field of Space technology has the potential to solve many of the Earth problems in the coming years. However, this exciting and fantastic field of Space science and technology is yet to be recognized and promoted in a big way in India among the students and public. This 3-day workshop is a step towards achieving that goal by giving exposure to this fantastic field and groom the future Space entrepreneuers.

Two Day Seminar on Computational Aerodynamics

Two Day Seminar on
Computational Aerodynamics

Organized by
M. S. Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences

Date: 12th & 13th September 2014 (Friday & Saturday)

Venue:  M. S. Ramaiah Univesity of Applied Sciences - Peenya Campus, Bengaluru-58

Preamble:

Introduction to Aerodynamics of aircraft, methods of computing key coefficients of forces and moments using low-fidelity methods (lifting line, vortex lattice and panel) followed by hi fidelity Computational Fluid Dynamics techniques will be demonstrated. Topics of Low Reynolds number flows of relevance to mini and micro aircraft along with experimental validation will be covered. Emphasis will be on hands-on work using Matlab as a programming environment.

Objectives:

On completion of the seminar delegates will be able to

  • Analyse the geometries (2D and 3D) and estimate key force and moment coefficients using thumb rules, data sheets
  • Compute relevant coefficients using low-fidelity methods (lifting line, Doublet, Vortex lattice)
  • Use modern CFD methods (Euler, Navier-Stokes) for analysis of realistic Wing and air intake geometries
  • Evaluate and decide on appropriate experimental techniques need to validate estimated results.
